Steven Crowder's Big Con
Now that the heat has come off, I will discuss this stupid little drama. Pretty much this is a giant nothing. Nothing new was shown other than it confirmed my suspicions about Steven Crowder. Dude was given an offer that he countered. Counter was not accepted and then Crowder threw a hissy fit.
Crowder didn’t reveal anything that was not already unknown or even secret. The Daily Wire uses an advertising model to monetize their content. As a consequence, when a creator is banned or suspended from a platform that would lose advertising money the creator also loses money. All parties involved lose money. It is the way the world works in the advertising model. This wasn’t previously unknown nor a revelation.
Crowder is a snake and a coward. This was what I have thought for a long time now. He is a gatekeeper and refuses to allow truly controversial people in the Right into the mainstream. He is a parrot of the “Con Inc” he claims to despise. He was buddy buddy with them until he too has become controversial. Has he apologized for his misdeeds and brought the enemy to account? Nope he went and threw his supposed friends under a bus to try to make a buck. Woman tier behavior.
How far they fall. Crowder used to be funny but his involvement with the Blaze ruined that for me. He just seems hateful and spiteful with nothing humorous to bring. His jokes don’t land. He’s trying too hard. Between that and Gerald’s boomer takes on everything while being the weakest, nicest man on the planet. (In the worst way possible. It’s what Protestantism does to you. Kills your manhood and runs away with your balls.) The only redeeming thing on the show was the liberal comic brought in to try to keep people laughing at his failing show.
This clip is what finally ended Crowder for me. Starting at the 2:53 mark or so Crowder has the worst take I have ever seen a “Christian Conservative” ever make. Russia have bad things therefore Russia bad. That is it. Boomer level foreign policy by conflating the Soviet Union run by the Communists until the early 1990’s and today’s Russia is so stupid it is difficult to put into words. I am becoming angry just rewatching to to talk about here. To say that Russia as a people don’t know anything about Christianity is laughable. Most of Russia’s culture that we in the West see are outgrowths of their over 1000 years of Christianity. The Communists themselves overthrew a Orthodox Christian Monarchy and led an attempted genocide on Christians in the Holodomor to bring about the State Sanctioned Atheism.
Regular people understand that Communism has its drastically bad effects. The issues that Crowder made fun of Russia for here are scars from their Communist past. Sadly it is what has happened. Not to mention that the priest was saying that the so called punishment of Russia was to her benefit. Russia will benefit in its effort to continue to rebaptize the nation into a stronger holy people through the banning of much Western influence. Ya know “the good guys”. Christian conservatism really taking an L here.
Crowder also on his appearance on Timcast with Tim Poole lauded and praised his “gay agent who is to the right of Attila the Hun”. (I’ve been having trouble locating this clip in the original Timcast. I will put it here when I find it later.) Assuming that is even possible to be a homosexual and right wing why would Stephen Crowder knowingly work with a homosexual in any capacity when he wouldn’t need to. How is that conserving family or more importantly “Christian” values. Showing in practice that “conservatives” are just liberals of ten years ago. He uses it as a token for good feels. He fails at conserving anything just like all other conservatives. Well other than that of Zionist objectives.
Enough time has passed to see that nothing has really come out of this entire Daily Wire ordeal. I have my issues with the Daily Wire but this is not one of them. Crowder revealed to the world who he really is and he may be punished but as of right now nothing really changed for him. I hope people can see this and realize the gatekeeping is holding us back from really getting to the root causes of the issues in our culture. Making fun of Priests is not the way to go about it. Nor is throwing our friends under the bus over what amounts to nothing.
As many of you should know I am a Baptized and Chrismated Orthodox Christian. That is my bias here. Take my comments with whatever sized grain of salt is required.
