Why "The Thing" Won't Happen and Why Passive Resistance is Okay

DISCLAIMER: I do not advocate for the use of violence against anyone for any reason.

In my last article, I wrote about Libertarianism as a transitory mode of thought in political philosophy. In short, it was never designed to be a permanent ideology for the free thinker to dwell upon, but it was useful for what modes of thought were to follow as an individual’s presuppositions continue to be challenged over time.

The collapse of mainstream Libertarianism and the MAGA movement the United States had resulted in, what I like to call a massive group of “ideological refugees” looking for a new mode that comports with reality. With this, there has been a group of individuals that are so enraged at the state of affairs that they are openly advocating for various -ahem- actions against the government.

Although many of these proponents nowadays are obvious government informants or government agents that specialize in infiltrating organizations, it’s still possible for somoene to maintain this possibility in their minds as a fantasy for how they see a better future. In more extreme forms, these thoughts materialized through internet tough guys who say they’ll spring into action and do x, y, and z, and simultaneously blame everyone else for being a bunch of fat, lazy cowards for not supporting the cause, whatever that may be.

To begin with, the idea of an uprising is just as impractical today as it always has been throughout the ages. From a purely historical standpoint, revolts, uprisings, and independence movements occur often, but very rarely succeed. The American Revolutionary war succeeded primarily due to aid from the French (just don’t tell that to the 3%ers). Even though it pains me to say this as an American, the “revolutionary” war was only one front of a massive global war between France and Great Britain; the revolution likely would not have succeeded if France did not see an opportunity to greatly harm an adversary. The two other modern examples that came to mind: the independence of Ireland and Israel was made possible due to British weakness. How it happened? I’ll let you continue down that rabbit hole yourself.

Secondly, the people who make these claims fail to see the national-scale solipsism involved in such thinking. In my first article, I went into how empires and nations rarely fall gracefully. Declines are messy, embarrassing, and result in famines, revolts, invasions, a substantial loss of life, and a great deal of human suffering; America’s decline (which we are currently experiencing) will be no different. The only matters still in questions are 1) how long will the decline take 2) to what extent and 3) will there ever be a recovery?

However, the decline will not be accelerated because some dudes in tacticool gear and AR-15’s pool together to instantly overthrow the government and re-install a new one that perfectly conforms to their vision of what government should be. Even if that were to happen to the tee, many ideological subgroups would have to temporarily set aside their differences and work with “undesireables” towards a common goal–this was once the goal of the MAGA movement to unite the right-wing under one large umbrella; once that goal has been accomplished, these disparate groups will bicker among themselves about which version of government is the most true to the original intent. Historically, we’ve seen this before with the French Revolution: the center gets pushed out which allowed the radical Jacobins to sieze power. Eventually, the Jacobins collectively enter into a purity spiral where those who don’t conform to increased radicalization get their heads cut off. As a result of this infighting (among other things), a relatively stable, republican system of government was finally instituted in France 156 years after the Storming of the Bastille.

The third and most important reason is perhaps the most practical; these “fat, lazy cowards”, in my personal opinion, are the rational ones. It’s a simple fact of human nature that very few people will willingly act against their best interest–being a member of the death cult known as Cultural Marxism being a key exception. It’s not about the fact that the government as a mass surveilance system, nukes, F22 figher jets, tanks, bombs, and unlimited manpower. It’s about the fact that the average man has other people besides himself to take care of. When it isn’t a wife or children, perhaps its their immediate family. Rising up in arms simply isn’t a winning solution because it would mean that these people would go without a support system and would suffer greatly as a result. Perhaps it’s just me, and I could be both wrong and taking crazy pills, but I see a man’s obligation to the family to be much more critical than a man’s obligation to his country.

So if revolutions do occur from time to time, why not here and now when many people are still visibly angry about the last two very clearly rigged elections? If you were to look at the revolutions in Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yugoslavia, Haiti, and Nicaragua, all of those were made possible due to U.S. intervention. However, this is much in the same light that the revolutions in Korea, Vietnam, China, Cuba–the ones you’re likely more familiar with from the history books. However, international intervention isn’t the common denominator. You can’t hand a briefcase full of cash to a man with a wife and three kids to take care of and expect him to raise Cain.

The common denominator is economic stability. As long as men, in general, have the ability to provide for thier family, no matter how difficult it might become at times, then peace and a world without political violence can be sustained. It’s only when men are backed into a corner and must fight in order to support their family and maintain thier quality of life that a man becomes truly dangerous to his government. Instead of refusing to fight “because of their wife and kids”, a man will fight “for their wife and kids”.

It just so happens that we find this degree of economic instability most often in places we would regard as “third world”. The United States government realizes this, which is why the Federal Reserve is working to prevent an outright economic collapse while continuing forward with the “controlled decline” of America as a global hegemon.

However, the main point of this article isn’t necessarily about whatever state this nation happens to be in, it’s about people’s reaction to it. There are a lot of people out there that are incredibly fed up with the way things are going. Some of that boils over in online conversations where people fantasize about joining an underground resistance of sorts and doing their part to save America–whatever that looks like. However, the truth is that there already is a resistance and it’s almost entirely “passive” in nature.

Normally people hear that word “passive” and think of something that has been robbed of dignity and virility, a shell of its former self. People treat passiveness as if it’s an admission of defeat. You know, “time to turn in the man card”. I beg to differ. I find that a lot of these men who took a step back and took stock of what was really important in life–God, family, friends, community–are the more even-headed and rational ones in our society today. These are the people who will eventually lead our communities and help us weather the storm that has come in the form of a mild sprinkle and will form into a torrential downpour.

In my opinion, passive resistance goes beyond just simply defying the government without the use of violence, but extends into the idea of also avoiding these grandiose gestures in the process or making a whole three-act performance out of your form of resistance. For example, how many people do you know have threatened to pay their taxes? Quite a few I imagine. Guess what they’re all doing here in April? Filing their tax returns. Nobody wants a target on their back and not paying taxes is the surest way to ensure that the government will come after you. In comparison, do you remember that six months span of time when everyone was putting “I did that” stickers on gas pumps? It wasn’t a huge gesture. It didn’t cost much money to buy the stickers and you can almost pull it off while remaining anonymous. Most importantly, it sent a message. Gas stations had to scrape them off left and right, but you can still tell what had transpired by the shape of the leftover adhesive residue. This also occurred with the “Let’s Go Brandon” phenomenon. What was the government going to do, bomb a whole stadium for chanting a four letter word? I didn’t think so.

Although these are small, almost meaningless gestures to us, the government and those who run it don’t think they’re small and meaningless at all. In fact, they hear us loud and clear. None of them are insulated from being rebuked for their corrupt, hedonistic, and diabolical ways. Why do you think they rigged an entire election to put an 80 year-old Alzheimer’s patient in the Oval Office? First, it was done in hopes that people were dumb enough to aim their slings and arrows at Biden instead of the real movers and shakers within government, the people causing the real problems.

Secondly, and the much more disturbing of the two reasons, is because Biden likely can’t even remember what he had for breakfast. He is orders of magnitude more insulated than the average politician or butt-sniffing bureaucrat because he is very clearly suffering from cognitive decline. One could argue that he “made his bed and must lie in it” or that he “sold his soul to the devil” for his past misdeeds, but what they are doing to Biden is nothing short of elder abuse. I would wish that sort of barbarity upon nobody.

Both points aside, this needed to be done because ego of the globalist is too inflated, too soft to suffer one single iota of our wrath. The inherent narcissism from living a life far removed of that of the average man has grown so parasitic that it feeds upon their souls. Because they have money, power, and fame, nobody dares to critique or correct them if they wish to remain in the inner circle. When they hear what we have to say about them, they can’t handle it.

In fact, it wasn’t so much that the election of Donald Trump was an attempt to retake our country (that was never going to be allowed to happen in the first place), but it was a resounding rejection of who they were and everything they stood for. To the globalist, a member of this elite, electing Donald Trump was as good as calling them every dirty name in the book ten thousand times over. This is why they writhe in agony and seethe in anger every time we make the most minor critique of them. This is why most of the globalist elite were so angry that they were motivated to help destroy our country and it’s economy as punishment for electing him in the first place.

Perhaps the largest slight to their ego was the fact that their plans for enslaving mankind to serve the global elite by becoming consumers and producers is failing. For whatever reason, they think they’re better than us and they’re entitled to use the fruit of our labor to their benefit. They hate us because we are taking something away from them that they believe they deserve above all else.

However, the purpose of passive resistance is twofold. Not only can it be used to send a message to a top, but also to send a message to those on our left and center. The globalists will continue their efforts to win over the minds of Americans through the use of subversion and propaganda. While there is no doubt that their efforts are exhaustive and have been somewhat effective, they have failed at preventing the truth from getting out. In fact, only two out of every five Americans believe that the 2020 election was actually undisputed and legitimate–these are the ones still hooked and listening whatever Limpwrist McSoyface has to say about equity on TikTok.

There is hope yet; from about 2015 onwards, we continue to hear stories of where people have broken the conditioning and have stopped believing what the government says. In this sense, passive resistance also entails outreach to those who are still buying propaganda by gently challenging their presuppositions with compassion and understanding. Sure, the leftoid will cry, seethe, and flail around like a petulant child (or more like they’re undergoing exorcism), but they will not be able to avoid reality forever. As the economic conditions in this country become more extreme, they may find themselves without a job, without a home, or without food on their plate. This is, in my personal opinion, where outreach becomes the keystone to the resistance. Charity shall know no political ideology.

Eventually, these conditions will force people will band together in small communal units to insulate themselves from the suffering economy and globalistic policies–but more on that in my next article.
